About This Release

The Accutron Horizon (ref. 26C202) packs a minute repeater, perpetual calendar accurate through 2100, one-hour chronograph, moonphase and day/night indicator into a 41.5mm 904L steel case. Its blue Denchu dial with starry sandstone subdials sits on blue Italian leather for $2,190, making it one of the most affordable grand complication watches available.

Collector Note

The Horizon is the flagship of Accutron's Fall/Winter 2026 collection and the brand's most complicated watch to date. Its Caliber 6U73 quartz movement combines the three complications traditionally reserved for the top of haute horlogerie: a chiming minute repeater, a perpetual calendar that tracks month lengths and leap years through 2100, and a one-hour chronograph, plus a moonphase and day/night indicator. Mechanical watches with this combination typically cost six figures; the Horizon brings the experience in under $2,500. The dial is the visual draw. A textured blue Denchu base holds four sandstone subdials flecked like a night sky. The moonphase sits at 12 o'clock, running seconds and 24-hour time at 3, month, leap year and chronograph hours at 6, and day and date share the 9 o'clock subdial. Lumed hands and applied markers keep the busy layout readable. The case is 904L stainless steel, the corrosion-resistant alloy favored by Rolex, at 41.5mm wide and 15.1mm thick with brushed and polished finishing. Note that it is only splash resistant, so treat it as a dress watch. Quartz accuracy is rated to ±15 seconds per month. The blue version comes on full-grain Italian leather; a black-dial version on a steel bracelet (ref. 26C203) sells for $2,590. Accutron is part of Citizen Watch Corporation and is known for the 1960 tuning fork movement and its 2020 electrostatic movement. The Horizon is not a limited edition.

Collector Value

As a non-limited quartz watch, the Horizon is unlikely to appreciate on the secondary market. Its appeal is access: a minute repeater, perpetual calendar and chronograph for $2,190, a combination usually priced in the six figures in mechanical form. Early sell-outs of the blue leather 26C202 suggest strong initial demand, so expect short-term scarcity at retail rather than long-term premiums. Buyers who prefer a bracelet can choose the black-dial 26C203 at $2,590.
