The 2026 Marine Chronographe 5527 is the most significant redesign of Breguet's modern Marine chronograph, bringing the watch closer to the brand's classical design language while keeping its sporty, nautical character. What changed in 2026? The dial now uses Breguet's "Quai de l'Horloge" hand-guilloché pattern, created for the Maison's 250th anniversary in 2025 and named for the Paris address of Abraham-Louis Breguet's original workshop. The chronograph hour counter has been dropped, leaving a cleaner two-register layout with chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock, small seconds at 9, and the date moved to 6 o'clock. Traditional Breguet numerals and pomme hands replace the previous markers. What is a flyback chronograph?
