Fears introduces the first high complication in its 180-year history with the Brunswick 39 Perpetual Calendar. The non-limited 39mm steel watch combines a perpetual calendar and moonphase in the brand’s slimmest Brunswick case yet.
Developed over four years, this is Fears’ first high complication and first moonphase, released during the company’s 180th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of its 2016 revival. Its compact cushion case, hand-finished movement and solid 18ct-gold rotor give it real historical importance within the modern Fears collection.
This is a non-limited core-collection model, so its appeal is based on historical significance rather than scarcity. The $28,500 price and modular Sellita/Dubois Dépraz architecture may restrain short-term secondary-market demand, but its anniversary context and status as Fears’ first perpetual calendar make it a meaningful long-term reference.
