The Frederique Constant Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture Burgundy Edition (FC-776BRG3H6) is a 100-piece limited edition with the brand's first-ever sunray burgundy dial. Its 40mm steel case houses the in-house FC-776 automatic perpetual calendar with a 72-hour power reserve, making it one of the most accessible manufacture perpetual calendars available.
Frederique Constant's Manufacture Perpetual Calendar has long been one of the most attainable in-house perpetual calendars on the market. For this limited edition of 100 individually numbered pieces, the Geneva maison gives it a burgundy dial for the first time. The sunray finish shifts from deep wine red to a hint of purple depending on the light, tapping into one of 2026's quiet color trends. It replaces the earlier salmon edition as the collection's more expressive option, alongside the permanent silver and blue models. The layout prioritizes legibility. The day sits at 9 o'clock, the date at 3, and the month with leap-year cycle at 12. A moonphase at 6 o'clock shows a night-blue sky with laser-engraved stars. The subdials carry a concentric CD-pattern finish, applied faceted markers ring the dial, and a railway minute track and onion crown inspired by 1920s pocket watches complete the classic look. Inside is the FC-776, Frederique Constant's 34th in-house calibre. It evolves the earlier FC-775 with a redesigned mainspring barrel and a new alloy spring, extending the power reserve to 72 hours at 4Hz. Through the sapphire caseback, collectors will see a snailed gold-plated rotor, fan-shaped Côtes de Genève on the winding bridge and perlage on the other bridges. The polished steel case measures 40mm by 12.25mm, and each case is engraved with its individual number. The edition was presented to collectors at WatchTime New York 2026. In the US it is delivered with two alligator straps, one burgundy and one black.
At 100 numbered pieces, this is one of the rarest versions of Frederique Constant's Manufacture Perpetual Calendar, and the first with a burgundy dial. Earlier limited colorways such as the salmon dial have drawn strong collector interest, and burgundy is one of 2026's defining dial colors, which should support demand. As an in-house perpetual calendar priced around $13,000, it remains a value proposition against Swiss rivals that typically cost two to three times as much. Keep the full set, including both straps and the numbered papers.
