The blue-dial Laureato Fifty Tourbillon Micro-Rotor 39mm pairs an in-house Grand Feu enamel Clous de Paris dial with Girard-Perregaux's signature tourbillon bridge and lyre-shaped cage. Its new automatic GP8410-2574 uses a platinum-and-pink-gold micro-rotor and provides a 72-hour power reserve.
Rather than enlarging the Laureato to accommodate a tourbillon, Girard-Perregaux kept this model at 39mm and only 10mm thick. The new GP8410-2574 movement, in-house blue Grand Feu enamel dial, white-gold tourbillon bridge and integrated steel bracelet make it one of the strongest technical expressions of the modern Laureato. It is regular production rather than a numbered limited edition.
Collector appeal is supported by the newly developed in-house tourbillon micro-rotor calibre, blue Grand Feu enamel dial, white-gold bridge and compact 39mm proportions. However, it is not a numbered limited edition, and its $100,000 retail price creates a narrow secondary-market buyer pool, so long-term appreciation will depend on sustained demand for Girard-Perregaux's high complications.
