The L.Leroy Vox Temporis combines a flying tourbillon and minute repeater with an unconventional rotating time display. Its silver guilloché dial turns beneath a fixed blue arrow to indicate the hour, while the exact minutes are communicated acoustically.
Inspired by an 1810 tact watch created for the Prince of Hesse, the Vox Temporis offers a deliberately relaxed visual indication of the hour. Activating the minute repeater reveals the precise time through separate chimes for the hours, quarter-hours and minutes, while a hinged officer-style caseback exposes the hand-finished movement.
The Vox Temporis is limited to 15 pieces across all three case materials, with approximately five examples expected in titanium. Its unusual rotating dial, minute repeater, hidden flying tourbillon and historically inspired display give it strong appeal among collectors of rare independent high complications.
