Created for Watch Ho & community’s third anniversary, the Selten Yum Cha is a 100-piece limited edition inspired by Hong Kong’s yum cha and dim sum tradition. Its hand-engraved fine-silver dial is finished with transparent fumé Grand Feu enamel, producing a warm honey-gold-to-amber bamboo-weave effect.
The Yum Cha turns a deeply personal Hong Kong memory into one of Selten’s most ambitious dial executions. Each fine-silver dial receives about 3,500 hand cuts, at least eight Grand Feu enamel firings and roughly 16.5 hours of work, creating subtle variation from watch to watch. The compact 38mm case and manual-wind movement keep the focus on the artisanal dial, while the 100-piece production gives the collaboration genuine scarcity.
Limited to 100 pieces, each featuring a naturally unique hand-engraved Grand Feu enamel dial and a personalized caseback number of up to three digits. The cultural story, extensive handcraft and small production should attract niche collector interest, but Selten remains a young independent brand and secondary-market performance is unproven. This is best purchased for its craftsmanship rather than expected appreciation.
