The Sinn 103 St Sa Lufthansa is a 100-piece limited edition pilot's chronograph made to mark Lufthansa's 100th anniversary. It pairs a dark gray dial and 12-hour bezel with Lufthansa yellow chronograph hands and a seconds hand tipped like an airliner window. Ref. 103.231 is priced at €2,890.
The Sinn 103 has been the Frankfurt brand's signature pilot's chronograph since the 1960s, and this edition links it to another Frankfurt institution: Lufthansa, celebrating its centenary in 2026. The branding is discreet. The dial shows only the Sinn logo, and the Lufthansa link comes through color: dark gray dial and bezel, lighter gray subdials, and yellow chronograph hands. The best detail is the central chronograph seconds hand, whose tip is shaped like a stylized aircraft window. Unlike the standard 103 St Sa, this edition shows the date only, uses a 12-hour bezel for a second time zone, and runs on the Sellita SW500 automatic. A sapphire caseback reveals a rotor engraved with the individual limited-edition number, the model name, and the "100 Jahre Lufthansa" logo. The 41mm steel case is water resistant to 200m and low-pressure resistant, a real pilot-watch spec. With only 100 pieces made, it's one of the rarest 103 variants and will appeal to both Sinn collectors and aviation fans.
