About This Release

The Wren Vessel is a 39mm integrated-bracelet sports watch and the first Wren that isn't a dive watch. Launched in October 2026, it features a sapphire crystal faceted on both sides and comes with a steel sunray or meteorite dial, limited to 150 pieces each.

Collector Note

What is the Wren Vessel? It is the first non-diver from Wren, the New York brand Craig Karger founded alongside his publication Wrist Enthusiast. Wren launched in 2024 with the Diver One and built its reputation on dive watches. The Vessel, designed with British designer Max Resnick over two years, takes the brand in a very different direction. Karger's brief was to design an integrated-bracelet sports watch for 2075 rather than 1975, avoiding the 1970s designs that most of the category still borrows from. The result is a cushion-shaped 904L stainless steel case measuring 39mm by 39mm and just 10.6mm thick. The standout feature is the one-piece sapphire crystal. Its top surface is cut with curved facets, and the underside is machined with matching facets in reverse, so the dial stays clear and undistorted when viewed through the edges. The crystal was so hard to produce that it delayed the project by up to a year. Two dials are available: a clean steel sunray and a light grey meteorite, where every piece has its own pattern. Both have an aqua seconds hand, a nod to the Diver One Aqua that launched the brand, with the same aqua on the rotor visible through the caseback. Inside is a Sellita SW300-1 automatic with a 56-hour power reserve. The 904L steel bracelet has Wren's own quick-release system and micro-adjustment built into the links, and an optional rubber strap is available for $195. How many Wren Vessels will be made? Each dial is limited to 150 numbered pieces, for 300 in total. Preorders are open now through Wren and Time+Tide, with deliveries expected in Q1 2027.

Collector Value

With 150 numbered pieces per dial, the Vessel is Wren's most ambitious release yet and its first step beyond dive watches. The double-faceted sapphire crystal is genuinely unusual at this price, and as the brand's first non-diver, the first run is likely to matter to Wren collectors. The Meteorite version, at $3,400, offers a one-of-a-kind dial pattern on every piece; the $2,900 Steel Sunray is the cleaner, more understated choice.
